International Service

 

International Service   Mission Statement To inform, assist, motivate and support Rotarians to help relieve the plight of the disadvantaged of the world and to promote the Rotary goal of world peace and understanding. Rotarians make a difference, because they make it happen. Chairman:  David Max Committee Members: Brian Wass The International Service committee takes care of the club's international projects and also keeps in close touch with our two Contact Clubs, The Rotary Club of Meudon in France and The Rotary Club of Celle Schloss in Germany. Each year we arrange an international get together at one of the three clubs, where we all meet up for a fellowship weekend.  In 2008 we are hosts for this international meeting here in London. We are pleased to be currently supporting: Mercy Ships Pestalozzi International Village - We are continuing to support our initiative of the Pestalozzi Rotary Forest at the Pestalozzi Student's Village in Sedlescombe, Sussex.
